Depth Defining 3-D System

Omega Optical’s Depth Defining 3-D system offers superior quality. This passive stereoscopic 3-D system is available on the market today.

 

Our 3-D system is based on a new approach backed by a pending patent (USPTO Patent Application #1053488). The glasses and projection filters have complex multilayer thin film coatings that divide the visible spectrum into two distinct white light sources that do not need color correction.

Key Features of the Omega Optical Depth Defining 3-D System 

  • Multilayer optical coatings that separate white light into left and right eye signals of equal brightness and neutral color.

  • Extinction levels are 1000:1, which means no ghosting is visible.

  • No color correction server needed as both eyes see white light.

  • No requirement for a silver screen, which is necessary for polarizing filter systems.

  • No hot spots or weakening in brightness.

  • Any type of screen can be used with our system – from a white wall to a high-end home theater projection screen.

  • Headaches and eye strain, caused by flicker from shutter glasses, are eliminated as both eyes see continuous full spectrum images.

  • Better efficiency than any other 3-D system available. 25% higher efficiency than linear polarizing systems like RealDz and MasterImage, and 45% higher than Dolby/ Infitec, according to Christie's Digital Cinema Configurator.

  • Our 3-D glasses and their optics are easy to clean and sanitize.

  • Unlimited number of viewers.

  • There are no batteries, interfering electronics or IR signals.
