How to Create an Account

Creating an Account
All users who want to purchase from this website must register whether you have had an account with Omega Optical previously, or not.
 

Click on “Login” at the top of the Home Page. Upon clicking the ‘Register’ button, you will be taken to a page containing a complete form for registration.
The form consists of the following fields (* marks required fields):

First Name*
Last Name*
Company*
Phone Number*
Address* (2 lines)
City*
State/Province/Region*
Zip Code*
Country*
Email Address*
Confirm Email Address*
Password*
Confirm Password*
I would like to receive the Omega Newsletter (checkbox)

Upon completing all required fields on the form please click the ‘Register’ button. This will add your information to our database to create a user account. Next you will be directed to the “My Account” screen.
 

Creating an Account From Our e-Commerce Store
When making a purchase, If not signed in up on clicking the ‘Continue to Checkout’ button you will be presented with the “Login/Register” screen.

From this screen, you can log in using your account credentials, choose to register before proceeding, or continue with the checkout process as a guest.

If you initiated the Registration process during the checkout process, you will continue with the checkout process following completion and submission of the Registration form.

If you initiated the Registration process while submitting a Build-a-Filter form, you will be presented with the Quick Registration screen. You will be required to complete the full registration process prior to checking out.

Editing Profile Information
When logged into your account you may access and edit the information saved at any time by clicking the Your Account link in the global site header.
The following account information is editable:

Account password
Email Address
Preferred Shipping Address
Preferred Billing Address
Preferred Credit Card

Historical Data
The system will keep a historical record of all orders placed and Build-a-Filter requests submitted for registered users. You must be logged-in to your account to access this information.
 

From the Build-a-Filter Requests screen of the Your Account section of the site, you can view a list of all submitted Build-a-Filter requests. For each request, you have the ability to view the details of the submission or clone a previous request to create a new request. Once a request has received a reply and made available for purchase by our administrator you will be able to add items to your cart from this screen.
 

Order History
When logged in to your account you will see a list of all orders placed with the following information for each:

Date and Order ID #
List of products and quantity/price of each
Order subtotal
Taxes and Shipping Costs
Order Total
Shipping and Billing Address
Payment Information (Card Type and Expiration Date)
