How to Use Product Search

Access the product search application by clicking on one of the following:

• “Shop Products” tab or “Find your filter” on the homepage
• “Find Your Filter” sidebar modules throughout the site
• “Products” link on the home page site navigation (top right of the page)

Find your filter searches by application, type or wavelength. The search field searches on the product name, product SKU #, description and/or products keyword, and returns results matching the criteria entered by you, the user.
 

The “Shop Products” tab will redirect you to our entire database of products.

The product filters are expandable areas that allow you to view and select various criteria by which to filter the list of products displayed in the “Your Results” area which consists of the following:

- By Application
- By Product Type
- By Wavelength
- By Brand
- By Fluorophore
 

Upon selecting an item within one of the search criteria, the system will return all products matching the specified criteria and display them in the Your Results area. You may select as many search criteria as necessary.
 

The interface displays 25 products at a time, and features a pagination system, which allows you to move forward and backward through the respective results, or enter a page number to jump directly to a page.

Each product in the result area contains an area on the left edge of the row that displays an RGB color value translation of the product’s Exact Wavelength, or the wavelength of an emission filter in the case of filter sets.

When results initially populate only the following information is displayed:

- Description of a filter, or Product SKU of a filter set
- Application
- Product Type
- Wavelength
- Brand
- Fluorophore
- Price
 

Clicking on a product row causes the product area to expand and display the details for the particular product. The expanded product area consists of the following elements and functionality:

-Product SKU
-Filter Size drop down menu with available sizes for the selected filter with corresponding prices
-Quantity - text input field allowing you, the user, to set a quantity of the item to add to your cart upon clicking ‘Add To Cart’
-Add To Cart Button – adds the specified quantity to your cart upon click
-Description/Specifications about the selected product
-Product Data Table – table that displays all data available
 

If the spectral data is available, there’s a View Spectral Curve Button. Clicking on this a pop-up displays the %Transmission curve for the respective product.
 

Build-a-Filter Callout: The Build-a-Filter callout appears at the top of the application interface and below the Your Results area. Clicking the callout directs you to the Build-a-Filter application page. For more information about Build-a-Filter, please click here.
