For our Customers-

As VT continues to have one of the lowest COVID-19 caseloads in the country, Omega remains open and ready to assist you. We have instituted several changes over the months, including daily temperature checks, mask-wearing and social-distancing, with many of our sales and office staff working from home. We appreciate your business!

Dear Customers, Suppliers and Business Partners,

Given the turbulent situation with the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we want to inform you about the measures Omega Optical is taking to contain the spread of COVID-19 in our community, protect the health and safety of our staff as well as our current production status.

In addition to non-essential travel restrictions and event cancellations, this week we have enacted a series of deliberate steps to reduce on-campus staffing. For the time being, Omega  Optical plans to stay open by splitting our production shifts to reduce the number of employees in the buildings at one time and by having all other workers work remotely. We are assessing the situation daily and will modify this plan as necessary to keep employees and their families safe.

As a contingency plan, we have increased stocks of raw material and are currently manufacturing product due for delivery through June and will continue to build ahead. We anticipate the possibility of slight delays in delivery due to less efficient operation, but we currently do not expect major disruptions. Of course, as we all are experiencing, that could change tomorrow.

We appreciate your collaboration and understanding as we all work together during this  difficult time to ensure the well-being of our communities.
