Warranty

Omega Optical warrants all products and services to assure satisfaction. We promise to work with customers to meet or exceed their expectations. Optical Coatings and Interference Filters are not simple devices, and their performance will vary depending on application and environment. We look forward to assisting our customers by advising them on these complexities.

We stand behind our products' quality, long life, and performance. All of our Protected Coating filters and filter sets are backed by a 3-year full satisfaction warranty. All of our Surface Coating filters and filter sets are backed by a 10-year full satisfaction warranty. Omega will repair or replace any product found to be outside production tolerances. Omega relies on the standard rules of significant figures in interpreting compliance with specifications. Please note that liability does not include obvious misuse of the product and is limited to repair or replacement of the product purchased. We accept no liability for consequential or incidental damage arising from use of the product.

Omega Optical evaluates our products and services against the statements of specification. We use calibrated and traceable standards, and apply them in accordance with MIL and ISO standards appropriate for the specific specifications. All products will be inspected during manufacture and prior to being assigned to inventory. Omega guarantees that these products will continue to meet these specifications for the life of the part or service, unless unreasonable storage or use conditions occur.

Please note that although glass and refractory oxides are material classes with high environmental resistance, humidity and temperature may stain or degrade performance. Humidity above 50% RH will eventually discolor all materials to a minor degree. Temperatures above 100°C can cause minor shifts in performance.

Return Policy

Customers are encouraged to contact Omega Optical (+1-802-251-7300) with any question or concern regarding any optical coating or service. If we are unable to resolve the question electronically, Omega will issue an RMA to return the item in question.

Within 30 days of delivery of a shipment, if a filter does not meet the published or quoted specifications or is received damaged we will repair or replace the item as stated in the warranty. If you have incorrectly specified a product, Omega Optical is entitled to assess a restocking fee to cover the costs of processing and handling the order and return. Please contact a customer service representative to authorize a return.

Requests to exchange product will be addressed on an individual basis.

Availability

Products listed on the website may be limited to the current inventory. Omega cannot guarantee their pricing or availability in the future. Overstock products are limited to stock on hand.

Typographical Errors

We make reasonable efforts to avoid typographical errors and inaccuracies in product descriptions and specifications, however errors can occur. Omega Optical disclaims responsibility for errors and omissions on the website, and reserves the right to change information and prices without notice. When a spectral curve and ascii data is provided, this is only a typical representation of the filter's performance, and may vary due to production and design variations. Omega only guarantees this part to meet the product specifications listed.

Shipping & Handling

Omega Optical ships internationally. Shipments are made Monday through Friday (U.S. holidays excluded). Most in-stock products will be shipped within 24-48 business hours after the order is received. Products with a lead time will be shipped when completed. Unless arranged otherwise in advance, an order will ship only when all parts are ready.

Products produced to customer quote and/or scheduled delivery will ship on-time unless prevented by unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will issue advance warning of the delivery delay.

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal. Credit terms (Net 30) are available on approval with pre-established accounts.
